Layer Coverages Landsat8 Peninsula

Satellite images are covered by the Orthoimages theme defined in Annex II of the INSPIRE DIRECTIVE (http://eur-lex.europa.eu/LexUriServ/LexUriServ.do?uri=OJ:L:2007:108:0001:0014:ES:PDF) and also under one of the topics of Annex I, Geographic Reference Information, of the LISIGE Act (http://www.idee.es/resources/leyes/Ley_LISIGE.pdf). This layer is part of a service WMS 1.3.0 of the National Geographic Institute of Spain that complies with the definition of INSPIRE and its Implementing Rules in relation to the requirements of a display service, and displays the following information: Several annual coverages of the Landsat8 satellite are acquired over peninsular Spain and the Balearic Islands. Panchromatic images are 15 meters in pixel size and multispectral images have 30 meters and 10 spectral bands (the 2 thermal bands that are captured at 100 m and are sampled at 30 m). These images correspond to the PNT half resolution. ETRS89-UTM spindle 30 extended system.
