The “Geographical Names” layer is part of a service WMS 1.3.0 of the Spanish National Geographic Institute that complies with the definition of Inspire and its Implementing Rules in relation to the requirements of a display service and the type of symbolism to be used.
“Geographical Names” is an Inspire layer that offers data from the Spanish Nomenclator Geographic Basic (Ngbe). The following types of Ngbe entities are represented: Landmarks of Spatial Reference, Coastal Relief, Hydrography, Mountain Relief, Geographical Spaces, Communications, Transportation, Administrative Division, Populations and Population Units.
The display of the “Geographical Names” layer is performed as established by Inspire in the Data Specification on Geographical Names (INSPIRE Data Specification on Geographical Names).
The visualisation of the IGN layers is performed through two styles one as set by Inspire and the other defined by the IGN.
