WFS Addresses and Postal Codes of the CartoCity of Spain

Addresses and management components of CartoCiudad. This service allows the access and location of addresses and the consultation of names of administrative units, postal codes and road names of Spain. They have been generated within the framework of the CartoCiudad project from official data from the SCNE’s Geographic Information Transport Network, from its road network, provides the interurban roads (road network, roads, paths) with its kilometre points and urban roads with the portals located on the edge of the plot. The national coverage network was generated by the IGN based on the data on this topic existing in its products and its contrast with third sources, and after the incorporation of the data production carried out by the Cartographic Institute of Valencia (ICV) in the Valencian Community. The national coverage of the network is updated on the basis of data sources from the General State Administration and the Autonomous Communities, and in particular the integration of the ICV update in Valencia and the Eusko Jaurlaritza — Basque Government in the Basque Country. The official data of Grupo Correos, the National Institute of Statistics and the National Geographic Institute, in particular the Central Cartography Registry, have also been taken. The geographical objects are served in accordance with the INSPIRE address data specification in Annex I and the accessible geographical objects are: ad:Address, ad:AdminUnitName, ad:PostalDescriptor and ad:ThoroughfareName.
