Agrological classes — WFS

Web service that allows you to visualise the cartographic information of the “Map of agrological classes”, whose fundamental objective is to provide information about the conditions and limitations that agricultural activity (agricultural, livestock and forestry) imposes on the factors of production of each district, municipality, parish or farm unit. The agrological class method developed for the whole of Asturias over the last decades is based on the evaluation method called Land Capability Classification. This method defines eight agrological classes with increasing utilisation limitations based on extrinsic soil properties, from Class I (without use limitations — not defined in Asturias) to Class VIII (maximum limits excluding productive uses).
