Dataset description

Current distribution and potential raster and station quality (SI) of the following pine species: Pinus pinea, Pinus halepensis, Pinus pinaster, Pinus nigra, Pinus sylvestris. Prepared for the project 'Biomasa Forest in Andalusia. Model of stocks, growths and production. Conifers’. Based on previously calculated environmental variables and data on the presence of IFN3 plots, station quality maps (Site Index) are obtained by means of Regression-Kriging methodology and potential distribution maps, obtained through two methodologies (Parametric Characterisation of Gandullo and Maximum Entropy). From the plots of the IFN3 and the planning projects, the MUCVA, MAPA FORESTAL ESPAÑOL and VEGE10 are obtained the current distribution maps of the five species of pines representative of the Andalusian territory. In particular, the information collected: — Summary of the numerical values of the frequency hitograms of the ecological variables — Inventory plots IFN3 of the species. — Current distribution of the species Pinus sp — Station quality for Pinus sp. — Reference height (Site index) for the current distribution of Pinus spp. — Reference height (Site index) for the potential distribution of Pinus spp. — Binary classification of the probability of presence for Pinus spp. — Potentiality distribution for Pinus spp. — Potentiality class for Pinus spp.
