Dataset description

Diagnosis of the accessibility conditions of all the municipalities of the Valencian Community through the evaluation of compliance with the parameters of the applicable regulations and with the qualification of the degree of accessibility of each municipality in seven categories (A, B, C, D, E, F, and G). Degree of accessibility A: “Municipality with a degree of compliance with accessibility regulations from 95 to 100%. It indicates, with statistical criteria, that in general there is full compliance with accessibility regulations in public spaces.” Degree of accessibility B: “Municipality with a degree of compliance with accessibility regulations of 80 to 94%. It indicates, with statistical criteria, that in general it has good accessibility conditions, although it has room for improvement for full adaptation.” Degree of accessibility C: “Municipality with a degree of compliance with accessibility regulations of 65 to 79%. It indicates, with statistical criteria, that in general it has improvable accessibility conditions and that there are some areas of the municipality pending adaptation.” Degree of accessibility D: “Municipality with a degree of compliance with accessibility regulations of 50 to 64%. It indicates, with statistical criteria, that in general it has improvable accessibility conditions and that there are quite a few areas of the municipality pending adaptation.” Degree of accessibility E: “Municipality with a degree of compliance with accessibility regulations from 35 to 49%. It indicates, with statistical criteria, that in general there are poor accessibility conditions. Degree of accessibility F: “Municipality with a degree of compliance with accessibility regulations from 20 to 34%. It indicates, with statistical criteria, that in general there are deficient conditions of accessibility, leading to problems of safety of use. Degree of accessibility G: “Municipality with a degree of compliance with accessibility regulations from 0 to 19%. It indicates, with statistical criteria, that in general there are quite poor accessibility conditions due to the characteristics of the municipality, even presenting problems of safety of use.
