The main objective of the research was to help the design of a questionnaire to carry out a quantitative study on this topic (study 2803 Attention to PACIENTS WITH TERMINAL PHASE FEATURES). In a secondary way, the research aimed to address, among others, the following partial objectives: — Options for the end-of-life situation, irreversible illness or terminal illness:palliative care, advance wills, informed consent, assisted suicide, etc. — The meaning of the concepts: euthanasia, dignified death, palliative care, anticipated wills, assisted suicide, informed consent, limitation of therapeutic effort, palliative sedation, refusal of treatment. The results of a qualitative study are not extrapolated to the population as a whole, due to the selection process of the participants, methods of collecting the information and the size of the sample.
