Activations of the SAMUR-Civil Protection

In this data set, the details of the activations carried out by SAMUR & Civil Protection are collected. Activation is defined as healthcare assignments involving the activation of a health resource or other type of vehicle. The data file provides for each activation: year, month, time of application and intervention, incident code, district and public transfer hospital. Observations to be taken into account in the analysis of the data: The incident code is determined by the information provided by the complainant. If an ambulance treats three patients, three activations are recorded. If an ambulance is activated and its warning is cancelled en route or before starting the route it is an activation. If three ambulances are activated in a warning, there are three activations. The hours of intervention that appear blank are activations cancelled, either by the applicant himself or by finding a closer resource.Those activations that do not include information in the field ‘Hospitals’ there are health care services that do not end with hospital transfer.
