Agroforestry Sector Territorial Plan of the CAPV

The PTS Agroforestry is an instrument with the essential purpose of contributing, in coordination with other sectoral instruments approved over these years, to the protection of agricultural soils of higher value. The mapping of the Agroforestry PTS establishes land management categories that cannot be developed by urban planning in which the protected natural areas of Natural Parks, Biotopes and Biosphere Reserve of Urdaibai are excluded in addition to urban and urban areas as well as the area ordered by the PTS of the Litoral. Within the mapping of the Agroforestry PTS in addition to the map of categories of management are the maps of: vulnerability of aquifers, eroding areas, mountains of public utility, ecological corridors and areas of naturalistic interest that are the so-called overlapping conditions that although, do not limit the use if the way in which certain activities can be developed that may pose a risk to the maintenance of the resource. The Agroforestry Sectoral Territorial Plan of the Autonomous Community of the Basque Country was definitively approved on 16 September in Decree 177/2014.
