This dataset contains provenance metadata related to the processes used to generate air quality observations of different pollutants in the city of Santiago de Compostela, in the scope of the TRAFAIR project, funded by the Innovation and Networks Executive Agency (INEA) of the European Commission (EC), through its Connecting Europe Facility (CEF) program. Each process is used to observe a specific pollutant, either carbon monoxide (CO) or nitrogen monoxide (NO) or nitrogen dioxide (NO2) or ozone (O3), and it is composed of an air quality sensing device and a calibration model. Regarding the sensing device, the recorded metadata includes its identifiers, trademark, model, and a textual description. The recorded metadata for each calibration model includes the name of the regression method used, the name of the software library used for the implementation, the hyperparameters of the model, the input variables and metadata related to the ISO reference air quality station used to generate the training dataset, and the time period of such training dataset.
