Area of arable crops according to crops and cultivation systems. Municipalities by Canary Islands and Years: This table publishes data on cultivated area in the Canary Islands according to crops and arable crop groups. These groups are: cereals, legumes for grain, tubers, industrial crops, flowers and ornamental plants, fodder crops and vegetables. The area is broken down according to the cultivation system used: dry or irrigated and depending on whether it is an area in main occupation, in successive occupations or in associated occupations. Finally, information is also provided on the amount of area in protected cultivation. Data are provided by municipalities on an annual basis since 2007.
