In this dataset you can find the addresses, collection times and geolocated points of each of the containers of used clothing that are located in different parts of the city. On the occasion of the entry into force of the new Waste Collection and Transport Contract in the City of Madrid, the number of containers installed in the city will be expanded, for the storage of used clothing and footwear to the amount of 1,600 containers. However, it is estimated that approximately 15 % of the collected material (corresponding to garments in good condition) is intended for reuse, usually through its sale in specific shops; 50 % is intended for recycling the textile material (for the elaboration of new garments), and the rest are clothes in poor condition that are not usable.
