Automatic Hydrological Information System (SAIH)

The SAIH is an information system responsible for capturing, transmitting in real time, processing and presenting data that describe the hydrological state along the river network and the control disositives that are located in them. To capture these variables, devices (sensors) are used, which are in contact with the medium, equipped with encoders that provide the electrical or logical signal of the state of the variable being measured. As such an information system is supported by a communications network, and as intelligent elements of it, it uses systems of acquisition and data processing. The network directly measures the water level at specific points of the river network.This measured level data (in meters of water height) makes it possible to indirectly calculate the circulating flow rate in m³/s. In this sheet you can download the unvalidated ten minute data (provisional and subject to review), but measured in real time, collected in the last 7 days by the SAIH Network of Navarra.
