BiciMAD. Bases of the public electric bicycle service of the city of Madrid

The public bicycle rental is a service aimed at all citizens and visitors of the city of Madrid, as an alternative element of clean transport that contributes to a more sustainable mobility model and the promotion of more balanced and healthy transport habits. Each station is composed of the totem (CIC) which is the center of interaction with the cyclist and the anchors for the placement of the bicycles. The public bicycle service is subject to rates approved by the City of Madrid, which include insurance that covers any mishap suffered during its use. The operating hours are uninterrupted 24 hours a day 365 days a year.
