Cadastral statistics: Urban Real Estate Catastro

The General Directorate of the Cadastre has the competence of the generation of Cadastral Statistics, including these within the National Statistical Plan. The Cadastral Statistics contain information about the main variables of the Real Estate Cadastre, and there is a specific section for the type of goods: urban, rustic and special characteristics, as well as for the data corresponding to cadastral ownership. Urban Real Estate Catastro includes the following data: year, last collective valuation procedure, real estate (disaggregated by uses), cadastral value (disaggregated by uses), land value and construction, number of urban plots (built and not built), plots according to area, plots built according to property. The Legislative Decree 1/2004 of 5 March 2004 approving the consolidated text of the Law on Real Estate Cadastre (TRLCI), in its article 4, establishes that the formation and maintenance of the Real Estate Cadastre, as well as the dissemination of cadastral information is the exclusive competence of the State through the General Directorate of the Cadastre.
