The cadastral plan is the splitting of the French territory into units of area enabling certain taxes to be calculated.
Each municipality is subdivided into sections, which are further subdivided into sheets (or boards).
A cadastral sheet contains plots, which can support buildings.
# # # # Difference from PCI Vector
Unlike the [Computed Cadastral Plan] (https://www.data.gouv.fr/fr/datasets/58e5924b88ee3802ca255566/) in EDIGÉO format, which is a set of 600 000 cadastral sheets with many elements related to the taxation or layout of the plan, this version reworked by Etalab focuses on parcel cutting and buildings.
The various layers of geographical information consist of the juxtaposition of the sheets, without correction.
This data also includes the [cadastral repository managed by the Eurometropole in Strasbourg] (https://www.data.gouv.fr/fr/datasets/5e6ad06d06e3e742367168cc).
Finally, this version is available directly in usual spatial data formats, making it easier to use.
# # # # Coverage
34 800 municipalities are covered by the PCI Vecteur, out of a total of almost 35 200.
The plans of the other municipalities are available in the form of images, via the Image PCI.

The overseas communities of Saint-Martin and Saint-Barthelemy are present and historically integrated in the department of Guadeloupe (971).
