Dataset description
The SIGPAC is the Geographical Identification System for Agricultural Plots by which farmers and ranchers must make applications for area-related Community aid. The implementation of this system of identification of agricultural parcels meets a Community requirement for all Member States. The SIGPAC starts to be used from 1 February 2005, coinciding with the start of the deadline for applying for Community aid during the 2005/2006 marketing year.
