Census of activities and establishments

Census of activities with the establishment of municipalities users of the software application GIA (Activity Information Management). It includes activities from various economic sectors: industrial, commercial, services, recreational, etc. The census also contains cultural, sporting, educational, social health and religious facilities. More than 200 municipalities of the demarcation are users of the GIA, a computer application with web technology designed and created by the Provincial Council of Barcelona to facilitate the management of the activities and establishments of their municipalities. The data currently available are those of those municipalities that have authorised its dissemination on the portal. This dataset will expand with the incorporation of the municipalities concerned. The data of the censuses of activities of the GIA are owned by the user municipalities, which manage and maintain them. The updating of the data therefore depends on the management of each municipality.
