Dataset description

This is the Canal General La Palma I (Barlovento — Fuencaliente), the most important of the east side of La Palma. The main function is the transport in high and by gravity of the accumulated water in the rafts and galleries of the north of the island (wet) to the south (dry). It has a length of 81.57 km along which there are downstreams that distribute the water to the final consumers. These downstreams are mainly owned by irrigation communities of La Isla.
