CLINMAR

The Spanish Patent and Trademark Office (OEPM) and the Office for Harmonisation in the Internal Market (OHIM), within the framework of the cooperation and convergence programmes between Community trade mark offices, have agreed to offer their users a common and harmonised Spanish database of goods and services for the registration of trade marks. CLINMAR is a service that, within the framework of the cooperation and convergence programmes between Community trade mark offices, allows users to offer users a common and harmonised Spanish database of goods and services for the registration of trade marks. This database contains terms or descriptions of goods and services indicating the class of Nice (10th edition) in which they are ordered, of which about 12,000 correspond to the list of goods and services officially adopted by WIPO for the Spanish language and the rest, which complements that official list of the Nice classification, are the result of harmonisation work carried out by the SPTO and OHIM.
