The objective of the Statistics on the creation and death of enterprises is to quantify the number of enterprises and establishments that are created and destroyed over time, according to the different economic sectors, territorial areas and other characteristics of these units, such as legal personality or their size. This demographic information is obtained directly from the Directory of Economic Activities, allowing to obtain survival rates and mortality over time.
