Detection and distribution of saproxyl beetles of Community interest in four Natura 2000 sites in the Basque Country: Arno, Gárate-Santa Barbara, Sierra Salvada and Urkiola — Euskadi Nature Information System

The present work marks the objective of adding more information about the occurrence and distribution of saproxyl beetle species of community interest in RN2000 spaces little or no prospect. The selected spaces are four: Arno (ES2120001), Garate-Santa Barbara (ES2120007), Urkiola (2130009) and Sierra Sálvada/Sálvada mendilerroa (ES0000244), all located in the Atlantic bioregion. The first two contain enclaves representative of particular forests (saking Cantabrian and cork oak, respectively), and the latter two include important areas of natural or semi-natural native forests.
