The System of Diseases of Compulsory Declaration is a basic system of the Epidemiological Surveillance Network of Castilla y León that is oriented to the detection and timely control of the cases of those communicable diseases that, due to their epidemic potential, represent a risk to the health of the population. It is regulated by: Explanatory note: There may be differences between the number of cases of diseases by age group and the number of cases and rates per province because either in some specific cases the age is not known, or they are numerically declared diseases for which no nominal data are collected.
