Dataset description

The United Nations scientific programme called Millennium Ecosystem Assessment (MEA) was designed to gather information on the conservation status of the planet’s ecosystems and their services. The MSE has a multiscale nature covering the local, national, regional and global scales. Among the objectives of the Millennium Ecosystem Assessment project in the Autonomous Community of the Basque Country is to quantify and evaluate some ecosystem functions and services for use in sustainable land management through GIS programmes.
