Communication consists of the transmission of information from a sender to a receiver. In every communication process there are the following elements (put the mouse pointer on top to see the definition): Sender — Message — Channel — Receiver — Code — Context If the sender and receiver are far from each other, there is talk of remote communication or telecommunication. In ancient times distance communication was limited to postal mail. From the 19th century the accelerated development of telecommunications begins when messages begin to be transmitted through the electric current, through the telegraph first and the telephone later. Later communication was developed through electromagnetic waves, which travel at a higher speed than the electric current, that do not need cables for transmission and that can be transmitted in outer space.
