Equipment dedicated to environmental education in continental aquatic systems

Continental aquatic systems are spaces of great ecological and social value that must be preserved. Through environmental education, it can be known and disseminated its values and promote its protection and conservation in a comprehensive way and promote a sustainable use of water that guarantees the balance between meeting the demand for consumption and the conservation of the natural environment. For this reason, the Gerència de Serveis de Medi Ambient of the Diputació de Barcelona, through the Office Tècnica d’Educació i Promoció Ambiental (OTEPA), starts the Va d’Aigua Program. The main objective of this program is to support those environmental education facilities and projects promoted by local authorities working to conserve and publicise the values of continental aquaculture systems. As a result of the impulse of the program, local environmental education facilities and projects linked to continental aquatic systems that you will find in this data set have been inventoried.
