Establishments and persons employed in areas of economic activity of the Basque Country by historical territory and type of polygon by branch of activity (A4).

The operation Directory of Economic Activities (DIRAE) collects information from all establishments and companies as units that carry out economic activities in the Basque Country; provides basic structural information on the different sectors of economic activity and serves as a reference framework for conducting sectoral censuses and surveys; it also allows the analysis of the population employed in the community establishments. It does not currently include the activities of households employing domestic staff and extraterritorial agencies.
