Data and Reports used for the evaluation of the Energy Savings and Efficiency Plan 2008-2012, which is part of the energy saving and efficiency policy, one of the fundamental objectives of the Government, being also an unavoidable commitment of the Community policy. This is based on the 2020 Energy and Climate Strategy, ratified by Directive 2012/27/EU on Energy Efficiency, which among its objectives has proposed a 20 % improvement in energy efficiency, with the introduction of a common framework of measures aimed at achieving this objective.
