Flood zones. SNCZI preferential flow zones

Areas delimited as Preferred Flow Zone in accordance with the provisions of Article 9 of Royal Decree 849/1986, of 11 April, approving the Regulation of the Hydraulic Public Domain, corresponding to the scope of the Autonomous Community of Navarre. It is part of the whole of the Hazardity and Flood Risk Maps, incorporated in the National System of Cartography of Flooded Areas (SNCZI) in accordance with Royal Decree 903/2010. This has been prepared by the Ebro and Cantabrian Hydrographic Confederations with the collaboration of the Autonomous Communities and the coordination of the national flood group and updated in the 2nd cycle of application of the European Flood Directive. This area consists of the union of the zone or areas where the flow is concentrated preferably during the avenues, or via of intense drainage, and of the area where, for the avenue of 100 years of return period, serious damage can occur to people and property, being delimited its outer limit by the envelope of both areas.
