Food in Spain 2014

The aim of the 2014 Food Report in Spain, published by Mercasa, is to contribute to a better knowledge of the Spanish food reality, for which the structure of the report is organised as a quick consultation manual, with a double aspect of analysis: by sector and by Autonomous Communities. To this end, the Report brings together all the statistical and documentary information available and most up-to-date, on production, industry, distribution and consumption of food in Spain, using in each case the most recognised and reliable statistical sources, public or private. All this, until completing a general overview of one of the most important, complex and dynamic sectors of the Spanish economy, whose activity — in all its phases — always has a wide and obvious impact on society as a whole.
