It contains the location of in situ data collection stations — meteorological, atmospheric and ocean-meteorological — integrated into the Global Change Monitoring Network in the National Parks Network, created in 2008 under a collaboration agreement between the Autonomous Organisation of National Parks (OAPN), the Spanish Climate Change Office (OECC), the State Meteorology Agency (AEMET) and the Biodiversity Foundation (FB), with the collaboration of Ferrovial-Agroman. The Network makes available freely and free of charge the meteorological data obtained. Weather stations are located in many of the Spanish national parks. The initiative is integrated into the Monitoring and Evaluation Plan of the National Parks Network.
