IGN planimetry, altymetries and joints

Raster archives corresponding to the digitisation of paper manuscript maps preserved in the IGN Topographic Archive. These are the works prior to the realisation of the National Topographic Map, in some cases several decades apart from the publication of the first edition of the MTN in the area. This type of documents were mainly made between 1870 and 1950 from measurements made on the ground that are collected in the field notebooks preserved in the Topographic Archive of the IGN. They are drawn on a 1:25,000 scale and served as the basis for their integration into the Pages of the National Topographic Map on a 1:50,000 scale. The download drive is a zip file, which can include three file types: JPG without georeference with 250 dpi resolution and georeferenced ecw with 400 dpi resolution (Ed50 Geodetic System, UTM Extended Spindle Projection).
