Indicators of Sustainable Development of the Canary Islands

In 2015, the UN adopted the 2030 Agenda on Sustainable Development, which set 17 goals and 169 goals, ranging from eliminating poverty to combating climate change, education, women’s equality, environmental protection or the design of our cities. For monitoring, 232 indicators were designed that can be measured through the statistical series that are collected here. The statistical series shown are harmonised and comparable between the different autonomy as they are the result of the joint work of the different Central Statistical Bodies of the Autonomous Communities (OCECAS). In turn, in line with the open data policy, the series can be downloaded in open formats and reused according to the Institute’s license. Indicators of Sustainable Development of the Canary Islands is a statistical operation under construction, to which new series will be incorporated according to the availability of new data from official sources.
