This data set contains information, for the year 2016, on the status of the consolidated expenditure budgets of the Local Entities of the Canary Islands according to functional structure and chapters of the economic structure and budgetary phases. The budget phases included are the final budget and budget implemented, the latter being understood as the obligations and rights recognised during the financial year. The information is disaggregated territorially for the Canary Islands, providing information on the consolidated budgets of municipalities and island councils. The consolidated budget indicates that internal transfers between governments or public bodies are compensated.
