Dataset description

The Base Image Map provides recent aerial images of maximum resolution in the area of the Valencian Community, and for the rest of the world it offers satellite images from various sources with variable resolution and validity. It is one of the layers available by default within the iframe of the Cartography Viewer of the Valencian Generalitat (IDEV). It is not searchable as a map service (wms and WMTS). This base map has been developed for use as a multipurpose background map valid for all scales.
