Modernised irrigation, Shock Plan: Projects

The map of irrigation improvement and modernisation works of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (MAPA) refers to the projects of the Shock Plan carried out by the previous Ministry of Environment (MMA) and Ministry of Agriculture Fisheries and Food (MAPA). The purpose of the Shock Plan is to try to alleviate the contradictions between the creation, maintenance and modernisation of infrastructures and the water needs of the agricultural sector, seeking water savings, environmental improvement, social improvements, improvement of productivity, coordination between different administrations and departments and actions in agricultural areas.
