Dataset description

Cirrhosis (SCI-9: 571 and CIE10: K70, K72.1, K73-K74, K76.1.9)* was responsible for 2.4 % of all deaths. Since 1990, cirrhosis mortality followed an average annual decline of close to 4 %. In cirrhosis mortality, a very obvious geographical pattern is observed, with areas of higher mortality in the regions of Greater Bilbao, Encartaciones and Donostia-San Sebastián.
