Mupis battery containers

As a way to strengthen recycling policies on public roads, the City Council has installed 400 mupis batteries with advertising exploitation throughout the city, at no cost in any budget item of the City Council. The financing of this service, the cost of its maintenance, is carried out through the advertising exploitation of them, and its location is carried out under strict control in the areas of accessibility, urban landscape and occupation of the public road. This furniture should not be confused with the pile mupis that are located in the canopies and whose management corresponds to EMT. The mupis pilas are preserved and maintained by the Public Service Management contract, modality of concession of municipal urban furniture information and other services. The concessionary company is Clear Channel S.L.U. The container intended for service is located at the bottom of the MUPI, being accessible on both sides. The tank mouths have an inclined plane with an adequate height that facilitates their introduction and in turn prevents the possible extraction of the contents of the deposits by third parties from the outside. To do this, they are equipped with appropriate mechanisms that avoid such action, always guaranteeing the safety of the user. They are perfectly signposted even with Braille alphabet in each of the compartments. The containerisation element for this type of waste is compartmentalised in such a way that button-type batteries, conventional batteries (alkaline or saline) and a third for mobile batteries are received separately, avoiding at all times the mixture of the different residues, by requiring different subsequent treatments for each one. The containers are equipped with special key emptying doors that allow the extraction of waste in a comfortable and easy way, through the removable container element (cage type or similar). The removal is carried out by duly qualified personnel and is carried out in vehicles specifically adapted for the transport of this type of element. The MUPI for the collection of mobile cells and batteries, has rear lighting made of light emitting diodes with a maximum consumption for furniture of 50w. We hope that they will provide a good service to their users, and this element will be valued and respected at the disposal of all people.
