National Topographic Base 1:100,000 from Spain

The National Topographic Base 1:100,000 (BTN100) is produced collaboratively between the two national reference entities in terms of cartographic production, the IGN and CEGET. The BTN100 is a multipurpose geographical data set that has as its main purpose the automated derived cartographic production and exploitation in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) through consultations and analysis. It integrates geographic information from various official sources. It presents a structure of geographical object classes based on phenomena representative to the aforementioned scale, with simple geometries (point, line and area) and topologically related. The data covers 7 thematic units in which only 2 (Hydrography and Roads) meet the data specifications of the Inspire Directive. The data are updated as of July 2015.
