Dataset description
The Nomenclator is a spatial database containing more than 120,000 toponyms that refer to the major toponymy (populations, main rivers, main mountains, etc.) and minor toponymy (secondary rivers, ravines, mountains, roads, paths, places, caves, fountains, minor population entities, etc.) of the Valencian Community. The Nomenclator is a project that is constantly being updated through the joint work between technicians, linguists and collaborators of the Institut Cartogràfic Valencià (http://www.icv.gva.es/ca) and the Acadèmia Valenciana de la Llengua (http://www.avl.gva.es). Searchable as a WMS map service
