In La Palma there is a high diversity of plant formations and habitats, in many cases poorly represented at island, European and global scales and which still occupy relatively important areas in La Palma. Among the habitats of community interest located in the terrestrial environment we have: • 1250 Cliffs with vegetation on the Macaronesian coasts • 4050* endemic macarones • 4090 Oro-Mediterranean Matorrales endemic to ally • 5330 Thermo-Mediterranean and pre-aesthetic Matorrales • 7220* Petrifying springs with tuf formation (Cratoneurion) • 8220 Siliceous rocky earrings with casmophytic vegetation • 8310 Cuevas not exploited by tourism • 8320 Lava fields and natural excavations • 92D0 Thermo-Mediterranean riverside galleries and scrubs • 9360* Macaronesian Laurisilvas • 9370* Phoenix Palmerales canariensis • 9550 Macaronesic or endemic Canarian pines • 9560* Mediterranean forests endemic to Juniperus sp.pl. (Canary Islands)
Some of these habitats have a very disjunct distribution and an extension spread in small spots. Based on the available information, the distribution of habitats in the Information Plan is reflected.
