Dataset description
Law 5/2014, of 25 July, of the Generalitat, of Land Planning, Urban Planning and Landscape, of the Valencian Community, defines the “green infrastructure” as the basic territorial system composed of the following spaces: the areas and places of most relevant environmental, cultural, agricultural and landscape value; critical areas of the territory whose transformation entails environmental risks or costs to the community; and the territorial framework of ecological corridors and functional connections that link all the above elements. The layers that constitute the aforementioned green infrastructure are: Catalogued underground cavities (discharge not available), UNESCO World Heritage Sites (discharge not available), Natural Monuments impact buffer zone, Natural Monuments, Wet Areas of International Importance, Catalogated Wet Areas, Wet Zones, Natural Parks, Municipal Natural Landscapes, Nature Reserves, Protected Landscapes, Incorporations (Sectorial, Urban and Territorial Action Plans) (currently without content), areas subject to flood hazards, Catalogated Mountains, Sites of Community Interest, Special Protection Areas for Birds, Special Conservation Areas (SACs), Specially Protected Areas of Importance for the Mediterranean, Strategic Forest Land — PATFOR, Territorial Corridors and Landscapes of Regional Relevance of the Valencian Community.
