The phenomena grouped in this topic are included in the topic called Elevation in the INSPIRE Directive which covers digital models of altitude of the surface of the earth, ice and sea. Altitude is represented by level curves, heights at significant points and breaking lines. The level curves, except for interlayers, are continuous. The equidistance between level curves is 5 m, with master level curves labeled every 25 m. The seabed can be represented by level curves and level points or by bathymetry, i.e. bathymetric curves and probe points, in which case the origin of depths must be indicated.
