It is the responsibility of the State Procurement Advisory Board to report on issues submitted to it for consideration related to public procurement and to issue opinions. It issues its reports at the request of the Undersecretaries and Directors-General of the ministerial departments, presidents and directors-general of autonomous bodies and public bodies, auditor general for State administration and the presidents of business organisations representing the various sectors affected by public procurement. They may also request reports from the Board of Directors of the Autonomous Communities and the presidents of the Local Entities. Contracting authorities and business organisations representing the various sectors of public procurement may submit to the Board motions concerning their specific competence, which may be informed by the Board.
