Dataset description

The Material Flow Statistics has as a generic objective the annual measurement of efficiency in the consumption of material resources. The material flow analysis allows to obtain a set of aggregate indicators of the use of natural resources, from which indicators on the productivity of resources (eco-efficiency) can be derived in relation to GDP and other economic and employment indicators, as well as indicators of material intensity of lifestyles, considering the size of the population and other demographic indicators.
