Zone GEODE Z3100. Sudportuguesa

This continuous cartography was made within the PLAN GEODE based mainly on maps at scale 1:25,000 and 1:50,000 of the Geological Research and Basic Cartography Project in the Pyritic Strip and Aledañas Areas of the Junta de Andalucía, available online (www.juntadeandalucia.es/innovacioncienciayempresa/sigma/index.html) (sheets 1:50,000 nº 936, 937, 938, 939, 958, 959, 960, 961, 980, 981, 982 and 983. The sheets of the pre-existing series MAGNA E.1:50,000 No. 915, 916, 917, 918 and 998, as well as revisions of the MAGNA sheets at 1:50,000 n° 919, 940, 941, 962 and 963, have also been used. This work has been carried out in Agreement with the Junta de Andalucía by Jerónimo Matas, Luis Miguel Martín Parra and Alejandro Díez Montes of the IGME, with the collaboration in the Digital Synthesis of Carlos Velando (Simna), being carried out under the technical supervision of the IGME.
