Dataset description
Bergatskemi contains information on various elements in rock samples from Sweden. Sampling has mainly been carried out in conjunction with regular field work at SGU. Some analysis values are taken from the literature. Analysis has been carried out with various so-called analysis packages and methods, even different laboratories have been used over time. The data set Bergartskemi contains location data, a brief description and chemical analyses of rock samples.
The amount of information on samples, sampling methodology, analytical and sample preparation method, analytical laboratory and the amount of elements analysed vary widely.
