The map depicts the main features of Sweden’s earthly geology. Accuracy varies as it is a compilation based on soil species maps at different scales and with varying quality. The map image is very heavily generalised and the soil classification is roughly simplified. The minimum surface area is about 1 km². The information is only intended to be used for overviews at national level, and should be used with caution in the context of analysis.
