Dataset description

The Swedish Radiation Safety Authority has had a monitoring programme for levels of radioactive substances in seawater since 2006. The current programme includes 6 sampling stations, which are sampled 1-2 times per year. Concentrations in seawater are reported to the EU in accordance with the Euratom Treaty. Data from these sampling stations are available through the Swedish Radiation Safety Authority’s website. The map shows the geographical location of the sampling stations.
