Generalised railway station

The Data Product Generalised Transport Station Rail is a refined railway data product. The type of processing is generalisation and it is based on three data products within the line data product group. The purpose of the generalisation is to create unique occurrences of the traffic points and other defined locations located in the railway plant. Each location is represented by a point. The data product contains the characteristics of the traffic location types (defined in accordance with the “Trafikverket’s Transport Rules for Railways (TTJ)”) operation location with operational location parts, operating location without operational location parts, operational location parts, stops, line locations and stops. The data product also contains the site types other location and station (on non-Traffic Works tracks) which are not, by definition, traffic points according to TTJ. Examples of properties at each location, in addition to Signature, Name, Location type and Position, are Status, Opportunities for Traveller Exchange, Connection to Port, etc.
